TIPS FOR ACHIEVING YOUR TEXTURED PLAIT:
- Spray a volumizer like on towel-dried hair.
- Twist sections of hair while drying it with a blow-dryer.
- When hair is dry, part your hair to the side, then pull it loosely into a ponytail at the nape of the neck. For a smooth look, secure the ponytail with elastic — the same shade as your hair.
- Pull out a few pieces of hair at the top of the crown to create height. Don’t worry about making it perfect — it should look a little messy.
HOW TO ACHIEVE THE PLAITED CROWN:
Step 1. Wash and rough blow dry your hair
Step 2. Apply a little hair spary throughout your hair and flicker through with your hands.
Step 3. Split your hair in to a parting down the centre into two equal sections.
Step 4. Plait the left. Then plait the right.
Step 5. Pull one plait up and over the front, top of your head and secure round the other side with grips. Repeat with the opposite side, tucking both plaits under one another at their ends. Fasten down with more grips. Apply hairspray for a firm hold.
HOW TO ACHIEVE THE RELAXED SIDE PLAIT:

Step 3. Apply a small pump of some styling gel to the palm of your hand and work into the mid-lengths and ends of the hair
Step 4. Creating a low side parting, brining the hair over, dividing the hair into three random sections and plait down. Continue the plait and secure in place with a hairband

Step 2: Spray any fly aways with a light weight hairspray and add a little to your ponytail to provide some extra texture.
Step 4: Wrap the ponytail around itself and when you have about three inches of hair left separate the sections and twist in opposite directions.
Step 5: Secure the pieces on top of the bun with a few bobby pins.
