Perfect for a Princess…

With the hype of Royal Wedding really starting to grip the nation and the countdown beginning with Kate’s last public appearance before the big day yesterday, we were wondering which of our beautiful dresses you think are perfect for a Princess?

See the Jones + Jones office are divided - there are so many gorgeous dresses to choose from!

To start with theres the Vivienne Dress in Liberty Pansy print…limited edition so she won’t have any same dress at a public event embarrassments – something a Princess should never have to suffer from. The association with Liberty, a Great British Fashion establishment, would be very positive and the delicate, pretty Pansy floral print combined with the full skirted femininty and the edgy ‘V’ cut of the back of the bodice, make for an exceptional dress for an exceptional lady…

However, would the edgy cut of the back of the Vivienne Dress be an indication of fashion forward style or too much skin for a Princess to parade?

Our next choice would be the Michelle Dress in black and white with a hint of ruby red. An easy to wear classic shift dress with a difference – it’s chic use of colour combined with this season’s colour blocking trend make it very up-to-date. The tulip skirt adds feminine curves and is completed with pockets - very practical for keeping her handkerchief love token incase the Prince should be present. Add some black leather courts and handbag with a gold gilded chain and she’s ready for a public appearance…

The Jones + Jones Michelle Dress

And last but not least the Jackie Dress in white is as appropriate for a Princess as it would have been for it’s namesake, the First Lady of the United States and style…Jackie Kennedy Onassis. A Princess would do well to follow in such well-loved and  respected footsteps. A ‘V’ neckline gives a little away without revealing too much, the elegant and flattering fit with a slightly fuller skirt is very feminine and chic without being OTT and the bow belt in matching fabric makes a pretty statement without being overly girlie. Feminine chic at it’s finest…
