Last but definitely not least of our week of fabulous guest bloggers, we have one of the members of our amazing Topshop concession team in Liverpool, Sophie, who is also a blogger at We Shoot Down The Stars For Our Enjoyment, letting us know her idea for a perfect Aintree Races outfit!…
I wanted to create a look inspired by Blair Waldorf meets Carrie Bradshaw. Jones and Jones dresses are statement pieces in themselves so its easy to accessorise them. I chose nude shades to emphasise the colours in the dress and bring out the sparkle in the shoes. I love the headband as it helps to bring together a girly yet glamorous outfit without trying too hard.
A huge thank you to Sophie for her oh-so-pretty Aintree Races outfit idea! You can find the jones + jones Julia Dress in patchwork sequins on our website here and in our concessions in select Topshop stores including the L1 Shopping Centre in Liverpool, the chic clutch is available on ASOS here and click here for the gorgeous ‘Vintage Jewel Headband’ from ‘Her Curious Nature’!
Sophie’s gorgeous outfit idea rounds up a week full-to-the-brim with couture hats to visors, pastels to glitter and of course crystal encrusted courts and full and flirty dresses! Thank you to all of our amazing guest bloggers for their inspiring outfit ideas for Ladies’ Day at Aintree Races!
I’ve been blogging since… only properly since December!
My favourite thing about blogging is… finding wonderful things and sharing them with everyone. Not just fashion but arts and culture too. There’s so many inspiring things out there it’s great to tell everyone about them.
Three words that describe my style are… Preppy, classic, vintage
Coming from Liverpool I know what Aintree Races means and its glamour! The dress is classic and elegant so you can have some fun with the accessories. Why not support some local Liverpool designers and go for the stunning black Madison 1204 hat from Rosie Olivia and the oversized shield ring from Claudia Pink?
Thank you so much to Kim for her stylish outfit choice and you can find the jones + jones Audrey Dress in cream here!
Check out tomorrow’s blog for a gorgeous vintage inspired outfit from Kylie at Memoir Mode!
We love abit of drama here at jones + jones HQ and are definitely big Hollyoaks fans! So you can imagine how excited we were when we spotted the stunning Jorgie Porter aka Theresa McQueen wearing the jones + jones Vicky Dress in black in last Tuesday’s love triangle episode!…
Styled with a beautiful red ribbon belt, tied into a statement bow at the back, red and black heels and a red clutch, we think Jorgie looked oh-so-pretty!
With it’s head-turning deep ‘V’ back, bordered with sheer floral lace and finished with a neat bow at the nipped-in waist, we can see why Theresa chose this dress to look gorgeous in! A delicate layer of lace flows down the dress over the stunning sweet heart neckline bodice to the full and flirty pleated lace skirt, completed with a net-trimmed petticoat…
The jones + jones Vicky Dress in black
You can steal Jorgie’s style with the best selling jones + jones Vicky Dress in black, which is available on our website here, Topshop’s website here and in our concessions in select Topshop stores: Oxford Circus in London, L1 Shopping Centre in Liverpool, The Trafford Centre in Manchester, Lakeside Shopping Centre in Essex, Victoria Square Shopping Centre in Belfast, Jervis Shopping Centre in Dublin and St Stephens Green in Dublin.
