This Sunday celebrates legendary French Fashion Designer Coco Chanel’s 130th Birthday and here at jones + jones HQ we plan to pay homage to the Little Black Dress icon this weekend! The LBD was originally made popular in the 1920′s by Gabrielle ‘Coco’ Chanel and has since gone on to become the epitome of fashion. Of course black dresses existed long before this time but until it wasn’t until Chanel introduced black as a fashion colour that it became popular (before this black was typically seen as a sign of mourning!)
