Last but definitely not least of our week of fabulous guest bloggers, we have one of the members of our amazing Topshop concession team in Liverpool, Sophie, who is also a blogger at We Shoot Down The Stars For Our Enjoyment, letting us know her idea for a perfect Aintree Races outfit!…
Name: Sophie Harry
My Blog: We Shoot Down The Stars For Our Enjoyment http://weshootdownthestarsforourenjoyment.blogspot.co.uk/
I’ve been blogging since… October 2010
My favourite thing about blogging is… it allows anyone no matter what fashion background they’re from to have an opinion in such a huge industry.
Three words that describe my style are… eclectic creative experimental
I wanted to create a look inspired by Blair Waldorf meets Carrie Bradshaw. Jones and Jones dresses are statement pieces in themselves so its easy to accessorise them. I chose nude shades to emphasise the colours in the dress and bring out the sparkle in the shoes. I love the headband as it helps to bring together a girly yet glamorous outfit without trying too hard.
A huge thank you to Sophie for her oh-so-pretty Aintree Races outfit idea! You can find the jones + jones Julia Dress in patchwork sequins on our website here and in our concessions in select Topshop stores including the L1 Shopping Centre in Liverpool, the chic clutch is available on ASOS here and click here for the gorgeous ‘Vintage Jewel Headband’ from ‘Her Curious Nature’!
Sophie’s gorgeous outfit idea rounds up a week full-to-the-brim with couture hats to visors, pastels to glitter and of course crystal encrusted courts and full and flirty dresses! Thank you to all of our amazing guest bloggers for their inspiring outfit ideas for Ladies’ Day at Aintree Races!
We hope you have a fabulous weekend!
With love, jones + jones and We Shoot Down The Stars For Our Enjoyment xx
My Blog: Memoir Mode – http://memoirmode.com
I’ve been blogging since… February 2011
My favourite thing about blogging is… Being able to be creative whether it is with outfit posts, photography or writing. Memoir Mode is a piece of the internet that is ‘mine’.
Three words that describe my style are… retro, nostalgic, trendy
Plus to compliment the vintage inspiration for Jones + Jones dresses, I would accessories with a wide brim straw visor and retro cat eye sunglasses. Not forgetting a smart little envelope clutch to carry around my necessities for the day including that all important red lipstick.
Thank you so much to Kylie for her vivacious vintage outfit idea and you can find the jones + jones Audrey Dress in pink on our website here! Check out all of Kylie’s gorgeous accessory picks on ASOS, from the classic clutch here, the stylish visor here and the cute and quirky sunglasses here!
Watch this space for the last of our guest blogger Aintree Races outfit ideas tomorrow from Sophie, who is not only a fantastic blogger but also a member of the jones + jones team working for our concession in Topshop in Liverpool!
With love, jones + jones & Memoir Mode xx
It’s Christmas party time and everything from the venue, the bar tab, the nibbles, the one we’ve had our eye on all year, how we’ll style our hair and most importantly what we’re going to wear is the talk of the office!…
We think if you can’t make a statement and show off your styling credentials at the Christmas party, then when can you? Party season is all about standing out from the crowd and showing off how gorgeous you are when you’re not restricted to office wear so take advantage of this!
This Christmas we will be wearing…
For edgy fashion-forward femininity…
For stylish + demure…
Or for sophisticated + gorgeous fashionista…
You can find all of the above stunning dresses and so many more, perfect for those under the mistletoe moments on our website here or in our concessions in select Topshop stores!
We hope you have a great weekend and a glamorous Christmas party!
With love, jones + jones x
The Jones + Jones office was buzzing this morning after the Brits last night, from the amazing performances (do I even need to say Adele’s name here?), to the surprising and not so surprising winners, and of course who looked hot and who didn’t quite cut it. We know everyone has there own taste and style but we would find it hard to believe that anyone could disagree with us when we say that Rihanna won our prize for best dressed lady last night!
In honour of Rihanna’s fashion achievements last night, we thought we would treat you all to a few images of the lady herself and Rihanna at the Brits inspired outfit ideas!
We recommend combining the Jones + Jones Simone Shorts in black lace with either a sexy body top from ASOS for a glamorous night out or for a day time look add this jersey blouse from Topshop completed with a ribbon bow or brooch at the collar!
Congratulations to all of the Brit nominees and winners! How amazing was the Brit award itself, designed by Vivienne Westwood!
Glamour, gossip, gorgeous celebs and great music, Jones + Jones loves the Brits!
