After attending our AW13 Press Event the girls from Cheryl’s Closet wrote an article about us! Now we’re not bragging but we are a loveable lot, if you don’t believe us take it from Cheryl and her girls;
‘We have had the ultimate month at Team Closet head quarters with our Cheryl’s Closet Team travelling to London for a 24 hour fashion frenzy! We were exclusively invited to attend the jones + jones press event to interview Team Jones + Jones and ask our favourite brand what is it that makes them sparkle? Why do we and celebrities have such a Style crush on Jones and Jones dresses, that one mere mention of their new A/W collections has our purses open at the ready, and makes our hearts tick as loud in London as The Big Ben upon viewing the collections ?
Our girls had what can only be described as the V.I.P treatment… Upon arrival waiting for them was a whole host of bulging goody bags for them, and a room full of celebrities including girlband XYRA from the Xfactor who modelling the new collections alongside our beautiful trio Cheryl’s Closet models Kirsty Brown, Stephanie O’ Donnell, and Charlotte Savage. Walking around brushing shoulders with celebrities, in a rainbow room of coloured sequins dresses, which would give strictly come dancing a run in the fashion bling’ stakes. The beautiful, rustic building at Jones and Jones Spittalfields Market was as enchanting as the dresses and staff themselves.. Their new collections drew inspiration from the great Gatsby and dark romance incorporating a strong lace theme which is all about bringing a touch of class and elegance to the collection. They describe ‘THEIR’ delicate lace finishing with a #love for #lace. It is to be advised of the importance of giving the wearer a quiet confidence in style with a hint of sultry suggestion of intimate lace, leaving the admirer with a lasting impression and adorning for more.
We are admiring the colour palette’s of their new collections as we move towards the darker nights and therefore we assumed a usual darker Autumnal colour palette to accompany them. We were excited to see that pastel pinks, creams and ruby reds were indeed part of the staple collections for A/W. Baroque, hints of Classic black and golds in their new Roxy dress bowled us over and set an air of excitement of what could possibly follow for their Christmas collections?
We have chosen our favourite’s exclusively for you and what we think will be their best sellers this Autumn from their captivating capsule collections. Our own design collections at Cheryl’s Closet are tailored with unique, draped open back dresses. We are loving Team jones + jones new Lorna dress with cut out sides and baroque detail, with an open back priced £65.00. Our other style crush and favourite outfit which we would style with a combined with a faux fur hat and jacket would be the Chynna playsuit. This beautiful piece with a floral scalloped edge, and trend setting tailored wide -legged tailored trousers will sure to see you stand out from the crowd this Autumn.
