Jones + jones Tamara Sequin Dress

This dress is the perfect LBD investment! The sequins and net-trimmed petticoat make this dress really stand out in a crowd and is a definite head-turner! I also love the shape of this dress as it’s flattering for the majority (if not all body) shapes/sizes. It also features a pretty Peter Pan collar embellished with sequins which adds that extra sparkle, and saves you from splashing out on jewellery to fill in any space between the neckline of your dress.
What is your top styling tip for the AW season
Layering – I love layering in AW as not only is it warm but chic too! My favourite colour in AW has to be ‘oxblood’ – there’s something warm and rich about this colour!
How did you get into fashion blogging?
I was inspired by the pages of ELLE UK…I’ve always loved writing and anything fashion/beauty related so I wanted to find a way I could channel by creativity and share it with others who have the same interests. That’s when (2 years ago) I discovered blogging and so many other girls who were sharing their chic style and inspiring blogs on the internet. It was like reading fashion magazines online, with pretty layouts, interesting content and incredible senses of style – the difference? All of these girls were ‘real people’, who either studied or had full-time jobs, but yet all shared the same passion for fashion.
2 years later and I’ve a lovely following of readers/supporters and I’ve had so many amazing opportunities. Blogging is one of the best things that has ever happened to me!

Mollie King wears the Frankie sequin skirt at the Golden Globes party
Mollie King of girl band The Saturdays was spotted performing at the Golden Globes after party in Los Angeles on Sunday night wearing the oh-so-stunning Frankie sequin skirt. Mollie looked gorgeous in the skirt which showed off her enviable pins! She teamed the eye -catching skirt with a white crop top and embellished ankle boots to take to the stage with the rest of her stylish bandmates..

Here at jones + jones HQ we were very excited to spot the jones + jones Red Hot Prom Dress in the January issue of Heat magazine..
The prom dress was featured in a fashion spread on Decadent Decade Dresses and we think the dress fits in perfectly with the fitted waist style of the 50s! The Red Hot Prom Dress in Burgundy is now sold out on our website but the style is still available in a number of different colours including white, chocolate, black and khaki, with the majority of colours now down to an amazing £30!

Meet the jones + jones team..
For the next few weeks we’re giving you an exclusive insight into the jones + jones team who work behind the scenes at our Mayfair HQ. This week we are starting with Kimberley, our dispatch merchandise manager..
Introduce yourself and tell us what you do at jones + jones?
My name is Kimberley and I am the dispatch merchandise manager. I assist with our 20 topshop concessions all over the country, helping with the layouts and merchandising. I dispatch stock from the head office which I think will sell well within their areas in that particular week and revise the feedback sent from our sales staff to consider which stock they will need the following week to gain great sales figures.
How did you land a job at jones + jones and when did you join the team?
I originally started here as an intern, exploring the e-commerce side of jones + jones and helping with website orders, stock counts and social media sites such as Polyvore and Pinterest. I also spent some time with the design team helping fit samples and pattern cutting. I have been here for 3 months now and have settled in very well with the rest of the jones + jones team. I enjoy all aspects that come with my role and hope to explore and expand my skills even further within the company.
What advice would you give someone wanting to get into your role?
I would tell them to have a very hardworking ethic and believe that you can do anything you set your mind to even if you choose a different pathway.
What has been your most memorable moment at jones + jones so far?
I would say being welcomed by the whole team and being offered my job role after my fifth week being here.
What is your favourite part of your job?
My favourite part of my job is getting to be the first person to see all the new collections coming in and working within our close knit team.
What is your favourite item from this season and how would you style it?
My Favourite item from this season is the Kimberley dress (which I am wearing today) I love the rock chic style so today I have gone for my biker boots, grazed tights and a black and white cross shirt underneath with the classic leather jacket. Rock On! 
Who is your style icon?
My style icon would have to be the model legend Kate Moss, I like to change up my style quite often and theres no-one that does that better than her.

Ella Henderson and Tasie Dhanraj wear jones + jones to 11 Downing Street..
Lat week 11 Downing Street held its annual Christmas party for children in aid of the Starlight charity and was attended by the likes of Spice girl Geri Halliwell and singer Carly Rae Jepsen. Also in attendance on the day was X Factor star Ella Henderson and Nickelodeon actress Tasie Dhanraj and both girls look super-stylish in their jones + jones items!..
Ella Henderson beat the chilly weather in a white fur collared coat which she teamed with a jumper and the jones + jones Vivienne black lace skirt..

The Sports Personality of the Year awards took place on Sunday evening and saw the UK’s finest sports men and woman be honoured for their talents displayed during this momentous sporting year by the likes of the Duchess of Cambridge and David Beckham. In attendance on the night was Olympic diver Tom Daley who was joined by his oh-so-gorgeous team mates Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow who looked stunning in their jones + jones dresses..

The gorgeous X Factor star Ella Henderson was spotted wearing the Tamara red sequin dress for her second performance at the Olympic Ball last week. Ella looked stunning in the sequin peter pan collar full-skirt dress dress which she teamed opaque tights and black waist belt – perfect for the party season upon us!..
On the other side of the Atlantic X Factor USA judge and Disney channel star Demi Lovato was spotted wearing the Audrey black lace dress for the live show. Demi toughened up the oh-so-girly dress with a studded leather biker jacket and black and gold strappy platform heels. We think she looks fab!..
